These photos were taken at the California Ohlone Indian Big Time Gathering on June 18, 2011 at Yerba Buena Gardens, San Francisco. The people, dances, and smell of sage created a beautiful and timeless atmosphere, where any spectator felt privileged to be a witness.
Participating tribes included Elem Indian Colony Tribe, Pit River Maidu Tribe, Winnemum Wintu Tribe, Shingle Springs Miwok Tribe, Stewarts Point Kashaya Band of Pomo and Manchester Pomo Tribe.
