Documentary images of the Make-a-Wish Foundation event for Miles, a cute 5-yr old battling leukemia who wished to “be Batman”. San Francisco declared November 15th “Batkid Day” and thousands came together to make Mile’s wish come true. Although I didn’t really get a shot of the lil guy, it was inspiring to be among the crowd, cheering him on, and seeing the optimism and heart of everyone involved.
You could see more pics of the event on Flickr. More info of the event at SF Gate and at the Make a Wish Foundation.

“Safer SF SOMA Streets”. A couple weeks ago, I came across the scene of a bicyclist’s death on 6th and Folsom, and discovered it’s the 3rd death this year by a vehicle around the same area. That area is ranked the most dangerous spot in SF for accidents of bicyclists & pedestrians, so the SF Bike Coalition started a campaign to change the roads around Folsom (that the city has chatted about since 98).
