Pink is the new black, at least for today.
Gaia: Earth Goddess is a mixed-media piece inspired by the mythologies of ancient Greece. She was believed to appear in courtyards and bore several mutant offspring, including Cyclops. This was created in pen/ink and colored in Photoshop. Artwork by Sherrie Thai of Shaire Productions.
Since the sun’s out and Easter is arriving, I thought it was time for a Robo Sumo Bunny shirt. The plump character was inspired by KungFu Panda–with his clumsy awkwardness, but loveable personality.
I created Face Patterns as a background for another piece, but I think it’s rather interesting on its own. This was created in pen/ink on bristol, then scanned and digitally colored.
Dabbling with figurative sketches–birds and decor. You could View Larger
This is a random vector illustration on the phrase “Life on the Edge”. You could view the shirt here.
Sabertooth Lion Cub is a mixed media project exploring the darker side of art. You can see the initial graphite drawing devoid of color and gradients. There’s a distinct Giger influence, but I took some artistic licensing in the anatomy of the cub. He’s a little vicious, but a cutey.
Love the textures of old, urban structures. This was taken near the San Francisco Presidio.
Here’s a sketch I did a while back called Skull Mountain. It was inspired by a few horror films and a microbiology book. Random creativity.
Tshirtaudit.com reviewed my Tiki Shirt on their site (March 14, 2009). I had a lot of fun creating this design and was pleased to discover that others find it just as entertaining. I think this deserves a “whooohooo” and a thank you to the jolly Tiki gods with flames a-blazin!
