While posed, living-statue photos are the norm for weddings, I enjoy the documentary/photojournalistic style more. The quiet moments are always more intriguing.

Andrew Zuckerman is an amazing photographer, but I especially enjoy his wildlife series. His new book Bird has such fantastic images, I initially thought they were 3D renderings as the action, lighting, and clarity of the images were so intense.

I was honored with the opportunity to photograph the wedding of a young couple–it was great fun as they were very open to my suggestions and poses.

Saw Basement Jaxx in concert the other day. Excellent DJ performance accompanied by singers and dancers.

I was blessed with the opportunity to be the photographer for the SF Department of Public Health ad campaign on HIV vaccinations. The photoshoot had seven models, two softboxes, laughter, and plenty of food. The formal photos will launch around December for a year-long campaign. Will definitely post those photos later. =0)
This action photo was taken by Rick Gerharter, a SF photographer who was gracious enough to forward along this shot of me behind the camera.
