Chinese Mountains is another exploration of style. It was created with a few different pens. The mixing of organic and geometric lines elude to a modernization of the chinese culture–traditional landscapes and modern skyscrapers.
This is by far my favorite pen and of course, weapon of choice for all the microscopic sketches and concept designs. View larger image here.
Cranes is a slight experimentation into various patterns and textures with a single medium–pen–in a detailed tribal style. View Larger.
I finally got around to creating a Myspace page for Shaire Productions here. With all tasks, there’s always room for improvement, but it’s a start. =0)
As it’s now December, Christmas will soon be upon us. I created Holly Reindeer to celebrate the occasion.
Inspired by the prints of Hiroshige, Mountain & Trees is a wintery illustration that would work well as an e-card. This was created with a few different brush and fine-tip pens. I’ve been exploring minimal color as an accent, not a crutch for the line-work.
Dragon Circle is an apparel design soon to be on Zazzle. This was another pen/ink drawing converted in Adobe Illustrator.

I’ve been interested in masks for a while. Gasmasks in particular always seemed very ominous to me with it’s alien-like features and the tubular apparatus. This image was inspired by all the talk of global conservation and global warming (formerly known as the “greehouse effect”). Mixed-media artwork: pen/ink illustration with vector art.
