I feel very fortunate to have made the acquaintance of Purple Reign, a real-life superhero taking a stand against Domestic Violence, Crime, Abuse, and Bullying. She featured my “Trapped” artwork with a Q/A article on her site.

Purple Reign’s inspiring campaign on DV encourages people of all backgrounds to be a hero and speak out against abuse. “Everyone has their own unique talents and abilities and we love to see people using them to make a difference in their community whether it is through art, music, poetry, culinary talents, or even offering service and labor.” More here.

Inspiration: David La Chapelle’s Maybach Campaign

Inspired by Warhol’s Daimler campaign, David La Chapelle has elevated the Maybach luxury car brand to new artistic heights, rather than a mere commercial commodity. David’s vision was recognized by Warhol early on (Interview Magazine) and has since continued to grace us with grand, surreal worlds of decadence, lust, and beauty. The photos will become part of the Daimler Art Collection, alongside works by Warhol and Jeff Koons.

Dark Knight: Promotional Design

Dark Knight

I created this design for the Dark Knight Campaign. As with most movie campaigns, the artwork was already in existence, so I just had to concentrate on extending the brand through photo collages and creating supporting artwork. This is where research is essential–if I didn’t have just a day or two to turn something around, I could easily spend a week on research. I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to touch different and exciting campaigns that I admire.
