I happened to be in the passenger’s seat of a moving car when I spotted this wonderful creature. I urged my brother to stop as the sight just made my day. It was so exciting to see this amazing creature (Falcon/Hawk? outside of a National Geographic magazine) with his meal so close, on the ground, and feeding! It seemed to have gobbled up the head of his victim, which I assume was a female pigeon or seagull. After a few moments, the bird tried hopping about–meal in-tow–creating a great spectacle.
