One of my loyal art customers, Stephen, recently etched one of my designs (Grim Tidings) onto his skin. I’m both humbled and excited about this as tattooing is a great flattery–permanent and for all to see. The tattooist was Erik of Tribe Tattoo in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Journey of Charon is a mixed media piece (graphite with digital coloring), based on Greek mythology’s Ferryman of Hades. Charon travels in a canoe, giving his riders an intimate, uncomfortable experience into the underworld. The faceless figures add to the mystery of the piece.
