Hiroshi Nonami is a surrealist photographer with a portfolio of breathtaking portraits. He doesn’t use Photoshop, just plenty of old-fashioned darkroom techniques and hand-done experimentation.

I’m participating in an all-female art show at the Everybody Get Up Gallery called “Let Them Eat Cake” until May. If you have a sweet tooth and love frilly things, then this show is for you. The subject matter is a brief departure from my usual gothic tendencies, but it was a fun experiment. Shop here on the EverybodyGetUp site. A percentage of the profits will benefit the East Bay SPCA.

Here are some art collaborations between myself and other artists in Sao Paolo, Brazil. My “Uncle Sam: Big Brother is Watching You” artwork was mailed off for Eric Marechal’s “Street Art Without Borders” project. His urban photos can be found on his UrbanHearts site and on Flickr.

Snapped this photo at Wondercon and did a teeny bit of editing–contrast adjustments and cleaned up the background. The photo quality is a bit grittier than my other monotone photos, but I think it fits with the subject matter.
